Picture Framer / Designer Wanted!

 

Join our growing team at the Art and Frame Warehouse! A custom frame shop and Art Gallery with three locations; this position is available at our south store located near 135th and Stateline in south KC.

We are looking for a self-motivated, energetic, personable, and honest individual with a love of art and framing who is serious about starting or continuing a career in the picture framing industry. We are busy and growing because of the dedication and the talent of our staff, so we expect nothing less from our new addition. So only the serious and committed persons should apply.

Position: Framer / designer: Primary responsibility will be working with clients on custom frame design and art gallery sales. With other responsibilities in managing the gallery floor, hanging and arranging gallery art, and various aspects of custom frame production (cutting mats and glass, mounting, object and conservation framing)
Experience in a custom frame shop and gallery preferred but not required. However, must have a eye for color and design with artistic background. Must be professional in all areas of customer service, and work well with others.

The job is challenging both physically and mentally and fast-paced (not a desk job), so you must be able to multi-task, able to work well with your hands.
