Bill McCall always had a natural talent for art which turned into a lifetime career. He received his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from The University of Kansas majoring in drawing and painting. He then went on to receive his Master of Fine Arts degree at Stanford University. While living in California he had the pleasure of working with many notable artists as well as the influence of contemporary trends of painting.

After returning to his home state of Kansas he followed all disciplines in painting including landscapes, plein air, figurative, still life and non-objective abstract. For over 50 years he shared a studio with his wife Carol. For many years they painted en plein air together. McCall has been fortunate to be represented the region's finest galleries and be included in numerous well respected collections and exhibits including The Kansas Masters, The Flint Hills Masters and The Abstract Invitational.
